Beginning Machine Piecing

Description : If you are new to quilting and want to start out on the right foot, this class is the one for you! You will learn how to choose fabric in Session I, and then learn how to correctly rotary cut a straight strip without ruler slippage, how to determine a quarter inch seam, how to press a straight seam, and more. Class project is a throw size quilt and includes the traditional split rail fence, log cabin and half square triangles.

This class is geared to the very beginner, so if you are wanting to learn to piece a quilt top, sign up! Quilting is a fun hobby, and we can help you join the crowd!!

Pumpkin Class
Instructor : Kathy Kaiser
Description : Rescheduled from the Spring Blizzard, now YOU can join Kathy and she'll show you how to make her famous "Pumpkin Quilt". She has simplified the pattern, but it is still a beautiful wall hanging featuring a pumpkin with vines and leaves, an original pattern designed by Kathy. We have kits available to take the guesswork out of fabric selection.

Beginning Machine Quilting
Instructor : Jennifer McCann

Description : Learn how to machine quilt those finished tops, making them finished projects! Machine quilting is a skill you must have, and so much easier to learn in a class. You must bring your machine, good working order, with a free motion foot and walking foot, and know how to lower the feed dogs.
