Product Description
Use the Horizontal Spool Pin with metallic threads or thread that does not feed evenly from the top of the spool. It mounts in the threaded hole at the top front of the machine. Compatible with all HQ longarm machines.
Successful use of metallic and more fragile threads depends on these things:
- Lessen friction by shortening the distance the thread travels from the spool to the tensioner (use of Horizontal Spool Pin)
- Loosen top and bobbin: reduces friction, reduces heat
- Use high quality thread
- Reduce your speed
